Biography
Michael is the Chair of the Board for Foresight Enterprise VCT and has extensive experience in funds, banking and other capital markets. He was most recently the regional managing director, corporate banking for RBS International with responsibility for The Royal Bank of Scotland’s Corporate Banking Business in the Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories. In a career spanning 31 years with The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc, Michael has undertaken a variety of roles including that of auditor and has extensive general management and lending experience across a number of industries.
Michael is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland and a qualified corporate treasurer. He is also a Non Executive Director on a Swedish private equity group board and sits on the advisory board of a Japanese private equity group , specializing in smaller company investments.
