Biography
Kavita has been the Deputy Chair of the Board for Foresight Enterprise VCT and was appointed Deputy Chair on 1 January 2024. Until 31 July 2024, she was a member of Ampa Holdings, a professional services group, and a Partner and Head of Investment Funds at law firm, Shakespeare Martineau LLP, for whom she subsequently undertook a consultancy role, ceasing on 30 April 2025. Kavita has a wealth of experience advising clients in the financial services arena, both in the retail and institutional space on corporate, regulatory and governance matters, and is considered a VCT specialist.
Kavita is also a Non-Executive Director of Nottingham Building Society where she sits on the Board Risk Committee, the Board Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee, as well as being the Board Consumer Duty Champion. Kavita is also a member of the AIC VCT Forum.
