Stephen Thayer

Biography

Stephen joined Foresight in 2012 and currently works as a Partner and Group Finance Director in the London office. He has over 17 years' worth of accounting experience and is responsible for the overall financial reporting and control across the corporate group, as well as a number of the funds we manage. This includes the strategic financial planning & analysis; tax and regulatory compliance; and the associated management and statutory reporting.

Prior to Foresight, Stephen worked at Marks & Spencer plc as a Senior Finance Manager where he focused on the international subsidiaries and franchise partners, plus the general merchandise supply chain and logistics. He has also worked as an Audit Executive at Ernst & Young LLP, working in their Consumer Products audit division, focusing on a number of large listed and privately owned businesses.

Stephen is a Chartered Accountant (ICAS) and holds an MChem in Chemistry from Oxford University.
