Biography
Stephen is a Partner and Group Finance Director at Foresight, with responsibility for the Group’s financial reporting, control and strategic financial planning, as well as oversight of a number of the funds the firm manages. He joined Foresight in 2012 and has held responsibility for several other areas across the business, including Retail Investor Relations and the Technology & Data team. He also chairs the Group Valuations Committee.
Prior to joining Foresight, Stephen began his career at Ernst & Young before joining Marks & Spencer, where he held a number of finance roles across its supply chain, logistics and international businesses.
Stephen has extensive experience in the VCT sector and played a leading role in Foresight’s IPO in 2021, helping to establish the governance, reporting and control frameworks required of a listed company.
Stephen holds an MChem in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).
