FGEN has invested in operating onshore wind farms in the UK. All FGEN owned wind farms are supported by the UK’s commitment to low carbon energy generation targets and are ROC or FiT accredited.
FGEN has invested in municipal waste management, wastewater treatment and biomass projects based in the UK and an energy-from-waste project in southern Italy.
FGEN has invested in operating agricultural anaerobic digestion plants in the UK that inject a renewable biogas into the main gas network as well as creating renewable electricity to be used onsite. All of FGEN’s AD plants are accredited under the RHI and FiT regimes.
FGEN has invested in operating ground mounted and rooftop solar plants in the UK. All of FGEN’s solar plants are supported by the UK’s commitment to low carbon energy generation targets and are ROC or FiT accredited.
Low carbon and sustainable infrastructure assets are an integral part of addressing climate change. These assets either offer a more efficient way to generate or distribute energy, are a means to reduce the demand of energy users or provide sustainable approaches to economic activity.
Food production and agriculture is one of the key global sectors that need to decarbonise – science-based estimates calculate that it is responsible for between a quarter and a third of global GhG emissions. Controlled environment projects can be part of the solution towards a more sustainable production of food.
FGEN has invested in operating run of the river hydro plants in the UK. The plants are accredited under the FiT regimes.
