Peatland Restoration at Knock Fell
With Scotland’s net-zero target set for 2045, urgent action is needed to restore degraded peatlands - one of the country’s most valuable natural carbon sinks. We have been working on restoring our Knock Fell peatland site in Galloway to stabilise the ecosystem and prevent the release of approximately 23,000 tonnes of carbon into the atmosphere.
