London, 26 October 2026: Foresight Group (“Foresight”) a leading infrastructure and private capital investment manager, and Belltown Power UK Limited (“Belltown”), an established clean energy company at the leading edge of project development in the UK, have today announced that they are expanding their joint venture (“JV”) with new commitments focussed on growing Belltown RePower, the JV’s specialist UK onshore wind repowering arm.

Belltown RePower, part of Foresight’s long-term partnership with Belltown, is anchored by five seed repowering assets, which include the Bowbeat Repowering and Cruach Mhor Repowering projects in Scotland, as well as three further sites across southern Scotland and England. Together, these five sites have a current operational capacity of c. 125 MW with strong potential for expansion. Repowering will see the current turbines replaced with fewer, larger and more efficient modern turbines, making optimal use of some of the UK’s best wind energy sites. Foresight and Belltown plan to add further repowering projects to the platform and are also exploring new greenfield onshore wind opportunities, particularly in England and Wales.

By combining Belltown’s development expertise with Foresight’s capital and asset management capabilities, the JV continues to effectively support the build-out of new low-cost, clean energy infrastructure across the UK, yielding tangible bottom-line benefits for both investors and consumers.

Chris Tanner, Partner at Foresight, said: "Belltown RePower positions Foresight at the forefront of what we believe will be a critical and highly interesting UK onshore wind development strategy over the next decade. Repowering offers a differentiated and efficient route into a scarce part of the UK renewables market, particularly at a time when conventional early-stage development has become increasingly challenging. This is precisely the kind of specialist, structured development exposure where Foresight's market knowledge, disciplined governance, and established relationship with Belltown can add significant value."

Paul Hewett, CEO, Belltown Power UK added: "Our highly productive relationship with Foresight continues to allow us to rapidly develop next generation infrastructure that will be critical to delivering a low-cost, secure and clean future energy system for the UK. Repowering, expanding and optimising aging sites is crucial to that mission and our innovative strategy has placed Belltown RePower at the forefront of onshore wind repowering in the UK."
