Foresight announces two Partner promotions in the Private Equity Team

Foresight are pleased to share two Partner promotions in the Private Equity Team, Amy Crofton and Matt McLoughlin. 

Both have exemplified exceptional skill and professionalism, helping drive Foresight’s mission to support SMEs in the UK and Ireland by improving access to capital at all stages of the growth journey, across all regions, many of which are underserved. 

Amy joined Foresight in 2017 and has been instrumental in developing and delivering our wholesale lending strategy and establishing our recent £100m evergreen South West Fund. She has worked with a large number of SMEs, and across our managed funds, with a particular emphasis on Foresight’s Venture Capital Trusts.

Matt has been with Foresight since 2019 and has played a key role in our evergreen East of England Fund, opening and leading our Cambridge office, growing our presence across the region and managing investments in local SMEs. He has worked on investments throughout the UK and Ireland, and supported the roll-out of Foresight’s regional investment strategy over recent years.

Both are experienced colleagues who have proven themselves to be excellent mentors to our rapidly growing Private Equity Team and we are delighted to welcome them to the leadership team.
