Ed Mountney

Biography

Ed joined Foresight Group in 2019 as Head of Valuations across their infrastructure department, with responsibility for the team providing quarterly valuations and analysis on a portfolio spanning over 350 assets and £9.5bn AUM. He joined the senior management team responsible for FGEN (formerly known as JLEN) in 2022 and he has over 13 years’ experience in infrastructure and renewables.

Prior to joining Foresight, Ed was Head of Valuations at John Laing Capital Management where he was responsible for valuations and financial analysis covering JLEN and the JLIF social infrastructure fund – with a combined portfolio valuation of circa £2bn. Prior to that, Ed was a Project Finance, Modelling and Valuations manager at RSM, where he focused on the origination and management of model build, model audit and training engagements, having previously started his career in audit.

Ed is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a 2.1 BA Hons in Business and Management from Oxford Brookes University.
