We’re proud of our portfolio companies. Even though 2020 and the current climate is proving challenging, many of our portfolio companies have used this as an opportunity to review their overall strategy, venture into a new market or launch a new product or service. From producing PPE to providing interpretation services to the NHS and even manufacturing COVID-19 testing kits, we hope you enjoy our short video showcasing the fantastic work of some of our portfolio.

2021 looks to provide a different trading landscape as businesses adapt to the ‘new normal’. We’re continuing to work closely with our portfolio to support their business ambitions and ensure they have resilient business models. We’re also keen to find high-quality, ambitious management teams to support. In December, we completed 12 investments and since the beginning of lockdown, we’ve welcomed 4 new investment professionals into the team. We’re also committed to improving diversity in our portfolio and investing in regions throughout the UK.

Despite the challenges COVID-19 presents in the medium term, the UK remains an excellent place to start, scale and sell a business, with broad pools of talent and an entrepreneurial culture.
