Launched in 2020, Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners ("FEIP") is a sustainability-led private markets energy transition fund. FEIP invests in opportunities created by the transformational change underway in global energy markets, with a focus on Europe, Australia and the United States.

FEIP will invest in a portfolio of energy infrastructure assets with specific sub-sector weightings designed to optimise the risk-adjusted return and maximise impact through power sector decarbonisation.

The majority of investments will be made into greenfield projects where we can utilise our experience of managing projects during construction, with the aim of delivering a premium return to investors. The Fund will retain a proportional allocation for investment into operational projects to provide an element of cash yield.

Launched in 2024, FEIP II is a private market energy transition infrastructure fund. At least 80% of investments planned to be made in Europe with an allocation of up to 20% into North America and Australia.

FEIP II is classified as an SFDR Article 9 Fund and investments it makes are intended to be aligned to the EU Taxonomy on sustainable activities.

Alongside investments in renewable energy sub-sectors such as wind and solar, the fund will also invest in energy storage and grid infrastructure. Foresight believes this will assist in eliminating bottlenecks to the energy transition by focussing in particular on sub-sectors such as Long Duration Energy Storage or Grid Infrastructure which are increasingly recognised as critical to the energy transition in more deeply decarbonised power systems. The fund is targeting a €1.25 billion raise; it will prioritise portfolio diversification and where possible invest in complementary assets which may benefit from negative correlations between different sub-sectors.

Foresight Group S.C.A. SICAV-SIF is a closed-end fund focused on direct lending to green infrastructure projects. The Fund is the first green bond fund solely investing in Italy.

The Fund invests in small and medium-sized renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in Italy through senior secured, fully amortising, listed green bonds. These offer a plethora of opportunities such as district heating and co-generation, public lighting, solar PV, solar thermal, wind and anaerobic digestion plants.
